Worship at Prince of Peace

Traditional Worship Service

Our 8:30 AM service follows a traditional pattern of Lutheran worship from the Lutheran Book of Worship and often includes special music from our choir and bell choir.

For Lutherans, worship stands at the center of our life of faith.

Contemporary Worship Service

Our 10:30 AM service worships with contemporary music led by our praise band. During this service we also offer Sunday school for children.

The Sacrament of Holy Communion

Prince of Peace celebrates the Lord’s Supper at both services on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month, and some special services.

In Baptism we hear God’s voice say “you are my beloved child.” We are then marked with the Cross of Christ forever.

Prince of Peace Sunday School

Adult Sunday School
9:40am, between services

Each Sunday between the two worship services Pastor Gib leads an Adult Sunday School, a guided discussion through a book of the Bible, which meets downstairs.

The Rock - Children's Sunday School
During 10:30am Service

The Rock Sunday School is taught every Sunday following the Children’s Message in the Contemporary Service.  We have two classes: Little Rock for preschool through kindergarten, and Big Rock for 1st through 5th grade. We meet in the downstairs classrooms.
