Worship & Music Ministry

Our music ministry includes people of all ages and all levels of musical ability and background. Our worship opportunities are many and varied in style. Let us know if you’re interested in joining any of our music groups!

The Worship & Music Committee is responsible for the planning and coordination of worship services, music, etc. Committee members are comprised of the Committee Chair, our pastor, and other volunteers that spearhead different organizational functions of the committee such as Altar Guild. They meet monthly and report back to the Council on updates regarding anything worship related.

Choir

Our newly reestablished choir meets on Wednesday evenings at 6 PM to rehearse. The choir often sings on Sunday mornings at our 9:30 AM Worship Service.

Worship Band

Our worship band leads worship for the more contemporary and modern music on Sundays at 9:30 AM. They meet for rehearsal at 5:15 PM on Wednesday evenings and before worship on Sunday morning.

Altar Guild

The Altar Guild is responsible for preparing the altar and paraments for each Sunday service, especially important for Holy Communion Sundays (the 1st and 3rd Sundays).

Acolytes

Acolytes are trained in their first year as Confirmation students, and can continue to serve as acolytes throughout their school years. Acolytes serve at Sunday Worship, lighting and extinguishing the altar candles and assisting with Holy Communion.
