One of the core values of the North American Lutheran Church is that we are MISSION DRIVEN. “We believe that the mission of the Church is to preach the Gospel and to make disciples for Christ. We believe that making disciples — in our congregations, in our communities and nations, and around the world — must be a priority of the Church in the present age.”
Following the words of Jesus to his disciples in Acts 1 that they would be his witnesses “in Jerusalem, and all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth,” our committee seeks to participate in God’s mission locally, regionally, nationally, and throughout the world. We meet monthly to plan, to learn about outreach and missions, along with making decisions about our financial support to missional organizations. We also seek ways of involving our church personally and incarnationally in this mission—both locally and in cross-cultural settings.
We currently fund the following missional groups:

World Mission Prayer League
Awakening Lives to World Mission (ALWM)
