Welcome to Prince of Peace Preschool! We offer preschool classes for 2.5-5 year olds with locations in Everett and Mill Creek. We are a unique blend of social play, academics, and learning about God’s love. We hope you will join us, we would love to have you.

Our Preschool History
Prince of Peace Preschool is a mission outreach of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Everett, WA. The plans for creating a preschool began in the spring of 1973. Their mission/philosophy was to establish a preschool program that would help prepare children for kindergarten while introducing them to the stories of Jesus’ love.
A newsletter was sent out to the residents in the surrounding area outlining the plans for a preschool. Numerous phone calls were received immediately in response to the mailing. This was enough to proceed with the plans to open the school.
The first classes were held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in September of 1973, with an enrollment of 50 students. By the fall of 1974, 3 additional teachers were hired filling the church to capacity. The preschool continued to grow, with a waiting list of parents eager to enroll their children.
In order to meet the need for more classrooms, additional space was borrowed from other churches in the area. A unique plan was developed whereby each “satellite” location was offered the opportunity to take over operation of the classes in their facility, once they were firmly established. There are still several churches in the area that house preschools who got their start with Prince of Peace!
Through the years, the preschool has evolved to meet the needs of the families and the requirements necessary for students to be successful upon entering kindergarten. A wonderful partnership with the Everett School District has aided in the evolution process.
Today, that same philosophy of “preparing children for kindergarten while introducing them to the stories of Jesus’ love” is still the mission of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church and Preschool.
Purpose Statement
As an outreach of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, we assist children to develop spiritually, physically, socially and emotionally through the Love and Grace of Jesus Christ.
